I know it's not the preffered setup but if I want to run the stock brushed motor in my SC10 will that be allowed for indoors? I will be running a MMPro esc but I may not have the time or interest in pulling my 17.5 out of my oval chassis for the couple races I may run |

Quoted rules from another thread:
| John-CRC wrote: |
i thought they were too. anyway...
2S Hard case batteries (6 cell nimh also ok)
There is 3 power plant choices:
17.5 brushless - sensored only. There is no 17.5 unsensored equivalent.
27T brushed.
stock rtr electronics.
Kit tires only - no soft compounds. (mixing brands ok - ie HPI tires on an SC10 is ok, but they need to be the kit compound.)
NO Stadium or 8th tires allowed. SC tires and wheels ONLY (2.2/3.0).
SC class MUST run full bodied SC Truck bodies that cover the wheels. Smaller bodies with less "parachute" effect are an advantage and are not allowed in SCT. Small bodies are for stadium trucks and buggies.
***However, vent holes in the bodies are ok. windows, areas where there would be cooling fans on the full size trucks, etc. We are playin it by ear with this rule. Don't go crazy butchering a body to death and we won't impose any ruling on your body*** |

yes, kit motor is allowed.
*Reminder* - this Thursday 2/10 IS a points race. Next Thursday 2/17 is NOT for points, but there WILL be racing.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME to compete in points AND non-points events, regardless of previous attendance in either.

going to try and make it down this sunday. hopefully I can get some stuff done around the house by then. the stock motor for that blitz is 15t brushed. is that ok? was wondering because it shows 27t brushed for the motors
edit: applying for numbers? how when to do so. that way I can make up a number plate ahead of time and not have the same as someone else. |

yep, the stock motor is legal. even though it is a 15t, the rtr motors do not run like the rebuildable racing stock motors (27t).
i'm working on getting a new chart made for the driver numbers. we had a hard drive crash a while back and the current list was lost and i haven't got a chance to make a new one yet. Hopefully i will get it done by sunday. don't worry about number plates for now, just come on down and have some fun. you can make up your number plates later, no problem. |

that's fine. It was more of something to keep me busy than anything. my only other question is. I do not have the stock tires off of my blitz and no LHS has rtr tires in stock, any exceptions? I have calibers and goose-bumps on hand right now. would you or anyone have a set of stockers to lend/sell? trying to stay to the rules and not being able to get parts in time. |

we have plenty of tires and rims in stock.
also, the number sheet has been re-posted in the hobby shop. i was able to find an old copy that i printed out, although it is missing many of our current racers, so it should be updated pretty well after racing tonight.

Nobody has a 22 yet.. they do look awesome though.
Most of the buggies racing are from the late 80's early 90's, great drivers though.. they make them look real good |

we have the 22 on backorder, but they won't be here for awhile yet.
current buggy class entries consist of:
2x XXX-CR
1x XXX-BK2
1x some sort of antique schumacher car. (need to talk to compton for more info on that )
3 - 6x tub chassis RC10 of varying ages and transmission setups.
none really have a clear advantage on the carpet. plenty of grip for everyone so it's really coming down to setup and driving so far. we'll see how the 2 six-gear cars do when they finally make it out (rambo and bauer). i believe the rest of the tubs are stealth tranny's. |
