| Hupo + CRC win another WGT Championship! |
 |
At the 2010 Snowbird Nationals in
Orlando, Florida, Hupo Hönigl continued his hot streak that started in Vegas in September
09. Red hot Hupo was Top Qualifier in both the 1:12th 10.5 class and the 1:10th
WGT class with his CRC rides. In the hotly contested World GT class, Hupo took
his CRC Gen-X 10 right off the track from his win in Cleveland and continued his
victorious ways in Orlando. Hupo won every round of qualifying and the main for
a dominant victory. Joining Hupo on the podium was 2nd place qualifier Brian
Wynn. Brian took his Advanced powered Gen-X 10 to the front setting quick times
all weekend.

In 1:12th 10.5, Hupo used
his CRC Gen-XL 1/12th car complete with CRC Pro Cut tires to cut up the
competition again. Joining Hupo on the podium was Dutch driver Jilles Groskamp.
Both drivers used the World Champion Black Art R8C body to provide the
aerodynamics needed to keep their car bolted to the track.

Steve McNichols
wins 1:12th 17.5 with CRC Gen-XL and Pro Cut tires!

Steve who? That's right, Florida
driver Steve McNichols is known for some solid results in touring car, but never
quite had the top results in 1:12th scale. The 2010 Snowbirds was different as
Steve chose the performance of Calandra Racing Concepts. McNichols received his
Gen-XL only a 10 days before the Snowbirds but by the end of the weekend found
himself on top of the 17.5 class. Steve also used the Black Art body to ice his
first big victory in 1:12th scale. Congrats to Steve!

CRC dominates
the Oval as well!

Last year, Joel Winnicki just
missed taking home the big win in 1:12th oval. He returned in 2010 with nothing
but winning on his mind. Joel took his CRC Razor II 1:12th car to T.Q. and a
solid A-main win! The central NY driver also used the CRC Monte Carlo body and
World Champion Pro Cut tires. Joining Joel on the podium was his roommate,
travel buddy and good friend Steve Pemberton with his full gamut of CRC
equipment.
