Norcal
Hobbies in California hosted the 2010 ROAR Paved Nationals on their awesome
paved road course. The track layout was very challenging and the surface super
smooth. With high grip and low tire wear, Norcal was an absolute perfect facility for this
event. At this year's event, 1:12th scale, World GT and Touring cars would
compete for National titles.
In World GT, Washington
state's own Dave Ehrlich took his CRC Gen-X 10 to a dominant T.Q after 4 rounds
of qualifying. The CRC Gen-X 10 continues to lead the way in performance and
design even as other companies have made cars similar in design to the Gen-X 10.
The CRC World GT car continues to dominate racing with wins at the all the major
events since the inception of World GT at the IIC (Vegas) in 2008.
In 1:12th 17.5, Dave took
his CRC Gen-XL to a dominating win from T.Q. position. His Gen-XL was equipped
with ROAR, European and World Champion winning products available from CRC; first the Black Art
R8C racing body and secondly CRC Pro Cut tires. Add the awesome driving talents
of Mr. Ehrlich and the result is a strong finish and a ROAR National title!
